Alright, so for Christmas I received a game called Amnesia: The Dark Decent that I had never heard of at the time, but was promise that it would be the scariest game I would ever play.

First, off. Let me say that I love horror and the Silent Hill series is a huge favorite of mine, but I had my doubts that this game could be "that scary." Ha! Boy was I wrong. This game is absolutely amazing and scared the crap out me. It just blew my mind. I found myself having to play this game in small amounts, and even having to switch to playing Silent Hill as a way to calm down my adrenaline rush. I finally got around to finishing the game today ( took me a while, but I was juggling it between school and other stuff ). Just completing this game felt like a reward, let alone having to do the extra work to get the best ending. For anybody interested in this game, I would have to say buy it. It doesn't cost a lot, but it is entirely worth it if you want to be scared out of your wits.

The object of the game is to solve puzzles related to the storyline and try not to get yourself killed by the monsters that randomly roam about the castle, however you can NOT kill these monsters. You can only hide in the dark and hope they don't find you, and when they do they will not stop chasing you until they kill you. Staying in the dark also loses your sanity and it makes you hallucinate. Plus the deeper you get into the game, the more twisted the storyline becomes.

This game is starting to become more known, which is a good thing. I know a bunch of people are too scared to play this game for themselves, so they watch other people play it, but for those who are interested in giving it a try. Do not spoil anything for yourself. This game has a twist and some really disturbing finds, especially near the dungeon area. The only thing I can say is... Do not trust iron maidens (scared the crap out of me), or barrels. Now I know why Pewdie hates them so much. They get in the way of everything! D:<

Other than that. This game turned into a huge favorite of mine. Yessss~ <3
